Wedding Photography Costs

I offer a simple package that will cost you around $1700.

Here's what you get:

• A beautiful print album: ($50 retail value - your choice of black or white covers) containing 4x6 prints of each shot
• Pictage.com: All of your pictures will be available to your friends and family at www.pictage.com
• Film negatives and/or digital files on a CD: This allows you to have reprints/enlargements made at a photo lab of your choice at your own convenience and reduced cost. You can also choose to have prints made through the Pictage.com service or have me make prints for you.
• A $75 gift certificate for use at Pictage.com: This can be applied to prints, albums or cards.
• A free engagement photo session: Shot digitally, you keep the 4x6 prints and digital files on a CD.

Here’s a breakdown of the $1700 cost mentioned above:

• A full day of shooting (up to 6 hours): including pre-ceremony candids, the ceremony, formal portraits, and the reception $1075. For more than 6 hours, add $75/hr.
• Additional cost depends on how many pictures I shoot. I charge $30/15 pictures, whether on film or digital. A typical number of pictures shot in a wedding day ranges between 275-350.
• Photo assistant charge is $60 (local) or $90 (out of town).
• Travel cost for weddings outside of Kalamazoo County is $1.75/mi. figured one way from my house to the ceremony/reception site.

Additional albums:

I offer three types of albums in addition to the proof album that is part of the basic package. Each can be tailored to your wishes in terms of pictures selected and sizes. The albums listed below are typical sizes. Prices quoted will vary depending on your particular choice of size and number of pages.

1. WillowBook flush mounted album - flush mounted means the pictures are printed on the pages like a regular book. Contemporary layout. size: 10"x13" 20 pages (40 sides) approx. 120 pics - leather bound $910 This is the size and cost of my studio sample album. A wide variety of sizes are available. Smaller albums with fewer pages start at $545.
2. Traditional mat page style - size 12"x12" 6 pages (12 sides) $400, 12 pages (24 sides) $750. These albums are also available to you without the pictures included if you'd like to put it together yourself.
3. Coffee Table books - size 7"x7" or 5"x5". These are smaller flush mounted albums, one picture per page and work well as a final album for the couple or for parent/gift albums. Prices start at $140.

Deposit: $275 due within 30 days of booking

Next payment: $500 due two weeks before the wedding date

Final payment:Due when prints and album are ready, three weeks after the wedding date
